Nissan has taken the wraps off its production-bound electric vehicle, named Leaf, that is plans to sell in Japan, the United States and Europe. The Leaf seats five and measures 175 inches long--about the same size as a Versa sedan. It uses an 80-kilowatt AC electric motor and draws from a laminated lithium-ion battery pack--the same type of batteries used by cellular telephones and laptop computers.
We don't normally cover the addition of new variants to an established model range, but the five-door version of the latest, third generation Mini is an exception. In terms of pure numbers, the new model is 161mm longer than the Hatch, at 3,982mm, and has a 72mm-longer wheelbase, at 2,567mm. Standing 1,425mm high makes it 11mm taller.
The Mitsubishi L200 pick-up – a cross between a truck and a car – now comes with a 5 year, 125,000 mile warranty. We don’t usually do commercial vehicle news on Cars UK, but the Mistubishi L200 isn’t just a commercial pick-up, it also does a passable job as a family runaround.
